Yes, I know, it sounds a bit crazy, and it probably is, but since the film is having trouble getting into film festivals, it seems the best way generate a little buzz is to give the film away free to people who want to see it and ask them to pass it long to others if they like it.

Of course, I still hope we do get into a few festivals, but it seems fairly obvious that they are not interested in a film that deals with the issues of the world in an Integral manner. They are basically trying to program Hollywood-Lite. They are looking for films with stars and sex and violence, not ideas and conversations and philosophy and meditations and prayers. They are looking for the next MTV inspired work, not something inspired by Bergman or Fassbinder or Kubrick or Welles. So, I still hope to get into a festival, but I've decided not to wait for some festival director to determine whether or not people see the film.

The hope of this bizarre little endeavor is to eventually create a grassroots level of interest in the film that is significant enough to get a distributor excited about picking it up.
